Suffolk Bull Moose Men vs Union County RFC Mudturtles

It was a beautiful day for a rugby game! The Suffolk men once again had amazing numbers and play hard against Union County RFC Mudturtles. The Suffolk men started strong and drove forward. The Suffolk fullback Tom Casey made great runs and scored the first and second try of the game with support of the team behind him. Matthew Reilly attempted the conversions and he made a good effort on the first kick and successfully got the second kick. The game continued and Suffolk showed outstanding offense and defense. Martin and Yue made incredible tackles against the Mudturtles. Robert Dooley made the third try of the game. Dooley had a great run with two jukes and finished with a spin. Matthew Reilly attempted the conversion.

The Suffolk men stayed strong during the second half and brought in subs to keep the game going. From a ruck Kevin Kelly passed to Ryan Frazer for the fourth try of the game. Matthew Reilly attempted the conversion. Buttercup then took a shot in order to prevent a try from the Mudturtles. Near the end of the game Matthew Reilly made an amazing shoe string tackle and saved the game for the Suffolk Bull Moose men. The game ended with Suffolk Bull Moose winning 22-15.

 

The men also played a B side game due to their large numbers.  Anthony Buser got three out of three stars for the match he was a great team player and played hard. Even though it was a B side game he still supported his teammates and brought water which is always a great help! Murphy scored a try.
